At d.r.i.f.t. our mission is: to bring people together through theatre, and to make the arts accessible in the Dharamshala region. For many of the children and adults we work with, this is their first experience of the magic of live theatre and the beautiful solidarities that come through engaging with the arts.
Our calendar of activities includes workshops, residencies, outreach programmes, performances and public readings, as well as running a unique annual Theatre Festival every March. These varied opportunities for the local community have already started bearing fruit, with original work being created by upcoming local artists, and the forging of artistic ties between people from varied communities and backgrounds.
Of course, all of this requires commitment from volunteers and collaborators, but also monetary contribution to invite artists from around the world, organise the festival and to run our programmes.
Our immediate requirement is to meet a target of Rs. 5 LAKHS for the upcoming d.r.i.f.t. 2020 festival

Additionally , our annual target for this year is Rs. 12 LAKHS, to run our outreach programmes, workshops and residencies. We now need you to step up and contribute towards fulfilling this mission.
We welcome donations in any amount, but your pledge to become an annual donor will free us up from fundraising so that we can do what we do best – doing theatre to bring people together!
